First, we would like to thank everyone who has donated food or money, your generosity is amazing especially in times like these. We really appreciate your working together with us to help those who are in crisis.
We are grateful to our local supermarkets, retailers & businesses: Potters Group, Jonathan Partridge Optometrists, Vivi Voip, Charlies Stores, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and B&M for their support over the years, and also for those who have had collections for the Foodbank at Churches, Schools and various organisations and businesses in the area. With these donations Welshpool & District foodbank are still supporting people with emergency food.
We have been able to enrol additional support agencies who have access to our e-referral system and also moved many existing agencies to our online platform. Their partnership is vital to the operation of the foodbank,
It is hard for us to say how things will unfold in the coming weeks, but we will continue to provide this help wherever possible and if anything changes we will let you know immediately. In the meantime, please continue donating vital food supplies. We’re particularly in need of milk powder, tinned meat and coffee . Thank you!
