We would like to thank our referral agencies, volunteers, churches, chapels, the many local schools, and Young Farmers who have supported Welshpool and District Foodbank with collections, both food and monetary, in 2020-21.
Also, our thanks go to our local supermarkets, Tesco (Welshpool & Newtown), Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and the Llanfyllin Spar and for the invaluable support we receive from local businesses such as Potters, J. Partridges Opticians, vivi VoIP, and from individuals who give on a regular basis which enables the foodbank to continue to provide food and help for many people who find themselves in crisis at this challenging time – without your generosity this would not be possible.
Welshpool & District foodbank works with over 40 referral agencies. Last year the foodbank distributed over 20 tons of food & toiletries to over 1000 people and various local charities.
